Job Title : Sr. VDI Administrator Job ID : 77261 Location : Charlotte, North Carolina Overview : Our client is an industry leader in the private equity space. They are searching for a Senior VDI Administrator for a permanent role in Toronto. What you will be doing :
- You will build and maintain Windows 10 VDI images
- Maintain VMware Horizon solution on cloud and on-prem
- Support Azure Virtual Desktop solutions
- Package applications into AppStacks
- Provide L3 support for Windows 10 non-persistent / floating VDI and Multi-session desktops
- Monitor VDI infrastructure via VMware and in house tools
- Monitor Service Desk queues and comply with quality guidelines when managing incidents.
- Respond and comply with escalation policies and procedures
- Provide operational support. Promptly respond to telephone call, voice-mail and emails.
- Participate in weekend on-call schedule
- Resolve and document system errors and performance issues
- Perform root cause analysis of critical errors and outages
