CNC LASER OPERATOR

Teems Fabrication Inc., is seeking an CNC Laser Operator. The successful candidate will operate our laser cutting machines to optimum performance as instructed, maintain production schedule, perform work quality checks and monitor machine output.

CNC Operator responsibilities

• Inspect the work area and machines that were used during the day prior to leaving at the end of each shift
• Follow all company safety protocol
• Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions
• Ensure that every machine procedure is done in accordance with the strict guidelines of the company
• Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories to be used on projects
• Perform operation of CNC Laser equipment
• Perform QC inspections
• Load sheet metal material on to machine

CNC Operator skills

Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprint drawings a plus
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to perform occasional heavy lifting, no more than 50lbs and able to perform repetitious movement of lifting material from pallets
• Ability to pass Drug Screen and random drug screens during employment
• Ability to work overtime as required

** Prior experience with CNC Laser equipment and/or plasma cutting table a plus***
