Our dedicated team is committed to craftsmanship, innovation, and excellence, and we are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fabrication shop.

Job Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing a small crew (4-6 people) and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of daily operations in our fabrication shop. You will oversee the production of high-quality metal products, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification. This role also requires hands-on involvement in the production process, including working at fabrication tables and assisting with installations when necessary. The supervisor will be expected to maintain high productivity levels, optimize workflows, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead a small team (4-6 people) in the daily production of metal products including railings, doors, fences, gates, planters, benches, fire pits, and water features.
• Monitor and ensure all products meet quality and safety standards.
• Manage production schedules to ensure maximum efficiency and product output.
• Work directly with the team, assisting on the fabrication floor when needed, including working at fabrication tables and other production stations.
• Aid with installation of finished products as needed.
• Provide guidance and training to team members to ensure proper manufacturing techniques and safety protocols.
• Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions to increase productivity and quality.
• Ensure the shop is organized, clean, and follows safety regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the management team regarding production progress, issues, and resource needs.
• Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies, working with procurement to ensure timely ordering.

Qualifications:

• Mandatory: Weld Certification (please include certification details in application).
• Multiple years of experience in the fabrication of steel and aluminum products using MIG welding machines.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of metalworking tools, fabrication techniques, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.
• Hands-on experience in metal fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, and assembly.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
