The Digital Sales Strategist will assist and strategize with key members of the sales staff including Account Executives, Account Managers, and sales leaders, to build digital solutions by leveraging ad-serving interfaces and other operational platforms. The Digital Sales Strategist's primary responsibility is campaign success through pre-sales order entry, management, and optimization of Digital Media campaigns to ensure launch and successful delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently prospect for new revenue opportunities using client and category insights.
- Upsell current clients by engaging them in the full product line of KREM KSKN-TV Spokane offerings.
- Create custom solutions-driven campaigns that meet client needs across multiple media platforms including broadcast, digital, and Streaming (OTT).
- Seek opportunities to expand relationships with key clients by taking an active role in understanding their business needs and competitive landscape.
- Establish strong relationships with internal team members by providing the Account Management team with clear and concise direction for the successful execution of campaigns.
- Partner with your Account Manager to provide exceptional customer service and contract fulfillment.
- Strategically utilize Matrix and station CRM to manage day-to-day activity, pipeline, and forecasts.
- Positively and professionally represent the media group to the community at events and surrounding businesses.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of digital marketing sales support, inside or outside sales experience.
- Expert knowledge of all facets of digital sales and marketing with good grasp of OTT and targeted display.
- Adept at creating new revenue opportunities from synergies between interactive sales and other mediums.
- Google AdWords and Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) certifications highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software.
- Strong presenter and communicator with internal and external customers and partners.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrate effective problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Self-motivation and a strong work ethic are essential attributes.
