WUSA9 is looking for an experienced, creative, and innovative Lifestyle Host / Reporter for Great Day Washington.

For almost a decade, Great Day Washington has connected viewers with the very best of the DMV. As one of the hosts, you will interview the region's most interesting people, top businesses, and help our audience discover products that improve their daily lives.

You'll host and produce content for all platforms and enterprise original and integration segments.

Our ideal candidate will be a curious, community-oriented storyteller with a dynamic personality. You'll also need to be customer service minded, as this is a client facing role.

Responsibilities :

• Host Great Day Washington from our WUSA9 studios with occasional on-location duties, appear in digital and social video content and perform other on-air duties as assigned, five days a week.
• Research topics, learn about guests, and do whatever it takes to be sharp and prepared for every interview.
• Work with our sales team and sponsors to help them achieve their goals and bring integrated sales content to life.
• Book, write and produce a minimum of three original segments a week.
• Collaborate with producers on show editorial, pitching segments, booking interviews and developing new ideas.
• Write and produce segments and edit teases and taped interviews as required.
• Publish videos to the web, post photo and video content to social media, and engage viewers in real-time.
• Attend and contribute to editorial meetings both on TEAMS and in person.
• And all other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate

Pay Range

90,000-$110,000 USD
