- Manage multiple stories at various stages of development
Requirements
- Strong visual storyteller with a track record of producing impactful investigations
- Team player who values collaboration and communication
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Clear understanding of journalistic principles and ethics
- Knowledge and respect of the law (libel, slander, copyright, public records, etc.)
- Social media proficiency
- BA/BS in journalism, communications, or related field
- At least 5-7 years of experience in investigative and/or consumer reporting
- Understanding of the ethics and tenants of professional journalism
- Able to produce stories that are engaging and memorable
- Knowledge of multi-platform news gathering tools and resources
