We are seeking a Part-Time Floating Commercial Construction Superintendent to assist with various projects in Dallas-Fort Worth. This role is ideal for an experienced superintendent looking for flexibility while staying engaged in the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site supervision for multiple projects as needed.
- Oversee subcontractors, vendors, and crews to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain compliance with OSHA and company policies.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts to ensure accurate execution.
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation, reporting progress to project managers.
- Step in as needed to fill in for superintendents on vacation, leave, or when additional leadership is required.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management.
- Ability to adapt to different job sites and work independently.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and managing subcontractors.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with government or federal construction projects is a plus.
- OSHA certification preferred.
