About the Job
This role involves working closely with plant and corporate engineering teams to design, implement, and support automated systems, including PLC programming, HMI hardware and software, and electrical and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Recommend equipment improvements and/or manufacturing methods to enhance quality or efficiency.
- Coordinate all mechanical/electrical system modifications with external vendors, maintenance personnel, and Facility Engineering Manager.
- Organize and maintain all system documentation, including mechanical/electrical prints, software documentation, backups, path problems, robot configurations, and parameters.
- Outline and maintain maintenance practices for automated systems and programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with expertise in PLC programming, HMI hardware and software, and electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
