Essential Job Functions :
- Cover the press line for all hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Work on and permanently improve all building, production, and maintenance systems.
- Complete appropriate documentation and logbooks.
- Support and assist all work centers.
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance on all building, production, and maintenance equipment.
- Assist in setting molds and dies when necessary.
- Keep machinery, equipment, and plant structure in operating condition.
- Maintain and install piping, fittings, valves, gauges, traps, and all types of controls for high- and low-pressure hydraulic systems and steam and airlines.
- If assigned second or third shift, complete die changes and project work.
- Preventative maintenance, and lubrication of various machinery.
- Responsible for any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Assist in shut down and start-up of the plant according to procedures.
- Cover for vacations and illness on the shift and be able to work overtime on short notice.
- Has responsibility for continuous improvement, corrective actions and quality of products.
