Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the technical maintenance and operation of highly automated SMC (Sheet Molding Compound) molding presses, including automation and robotic systems.
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime by identifying root causes of hardware and / or PLC logic issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Perform real-time troubleshooting and adjustments to improve process stability and part quality.
- Communicate equipment status in daily and periodic reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
- Assist with tooling changes, process setups, and machine parameter optimization to ensure consistent production output.
- Maintain a problem-solving mindset and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt on the job.
- Support flexible shift schedules as necessary to accommodate production demands and critical troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) regulations, including lock-out / tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
