Courier/Delivery Driver

To enhance our delivery services, we are looking for a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team.

Overview:

The Courier Driver will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of groceries and other products to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a dedication to providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple deliveries while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery Operations:

• Safely and efficiently deliver groceries and other products to customers’ homes or designated locations.

• Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely arrivals.

2. Customer Interaction:

• Engage with customers during deliveries, providing friendly and professional service.

• Address any questions or concerns from customers regarding their orders or delivery process.

3. Order Management:

• Verify the accuracy of orders before departure, ensuring that all items are included and in good condition.

• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and digital payments as required during deliveries.

4. Route Planning:

• Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.

• Adjust routes as needed based on traffic conditions or customer requests.

5. Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including order details, delivery times, and customer feedback.

• Report any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries to management promptly.

6. Vehicle Maintenance:

• Ensure that the delivery vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.

• Conduct regular checks on the vehicle’s fuel, oil, and tire pressure, reporting any maintenance issues to management.

7. Compliance:

• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.

• Follow company policies regarding safety and customer service standards.

8. Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with store staff to coordinate order preparation and delivery schedules.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a courier driver or in a similar delivery role preferred.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.94 - $18.16 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
