Assistant Account Receivable/Account Specialist

Account / AR Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of customers and ensuring their satisfaction with the company's products or services. They act as the main point of contact for our customer and are responsible for resolving any issues or concerns they may have as it comes to do with rental and invoicing. Account Specialists also identify opportunities during the contract process and work with the Salesperson and customer to resolve these issues. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and provide insights to clients. A successful Account / AR Specialist should be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and work collaboratively with sales and support teams to ensure the client and the company's needs are met.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation.
• Generate and send out accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely payment.
• Communicate with customers to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer transactions and payment histories in the accounting system.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Collaborate with the sales and rental teams to verify contract terms and resolve billing issues.
• Assist in the month-end closing process by providing necessary reports and documentation.
• Support audits by providing requested documentation and explanations regarding accounts receivable.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management.

Qualifications :

Must pass a drug test and have a clean driving record.
