Your role as a Equipment Mechanic Level 1 / Make Ready
As a new Equipment Mechanic Level 1 / Make Ready at Tejas Equipment Rental, you can look forward to an exciting day filled with hands-on tasks and learning opportunities! Your day will typically begin at 7 : 30 AM, where you'll kickstart the morning with a team huddle to discuss daily goals and safety protocols. You'll dive into diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring that all gear is in peak condition.
Expect to collaborate closely with team members to prepare equipment for rentals, keeping our customer-centric focus in mind. As you settle into your role, you'll develop a keen understanding of our diverse machinery and participate in safety checks, ensuring our equipment meets industry standards. Your work week will generally be Monday to Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM, with occasional Saturdays from 7 : 30 AM to 12 : 00 PM to meet project demands.
