What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experience Designer - hybrid in Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, or Phoenix position at TEK Connexion?
What we’re looking for:
- A highly capable, hands-on designer with strong individual contributor experience
- Someone with a background in a creative field (e.g., illustration, graphic design, printmaking, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills
- A compelling design portfolio that clearly showcases their process, contributions, and thinking—not just final visuals (required)
- Design systems experience is a plus, but not required—candidates with strong portfolios will be considered
Must Have Technical Skills: Level 4 –7-9 years
- Design systems experience (using at minimum but hopefully contributing/maintaining)
- Figma experience (component building important)
- Product design
- Presentation / Facilitation
- Systems thinking
- Mobile (native) design systems experience a plus
- Design tokens experience
- Experience building reusable Figma design components
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pittsburgh, PA 15222
