We are currently seeking candidates who are located in Pittsburgh or Birmingham or the surrounding area. Preference will be given to individuals who are already residing in these cities, as in-person availability is required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Update existing software to fix errors, adapt it for new hardware, or enhance interfaces and performance.
- Design and create software systems, utilizing scientific analysis and mathematical models to forecast and assess design outcomes and consequences.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assess the interaction between hardware and software, create specifications and performance requirements, and address customer issues.
- Provide guidance to customers on maintaining software systems, or perform maintenance tasks as needed.
- Develop and oversee testing and validation procedures for software systems.
