Location:Omaha, Nebraska

Travel: 50% every other week to Omaha. Remote other times (Expenses paid)
6 month contract, eventual conversion to Aberdeen.

Overview:
Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an experienced SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) Lead a team for a major Brownfield migration project at Kiewit. The ideal candidate will bring 15-20 years of experience, including a background in Big 4 consulting, and a deep understanding of SAP EWM processes, with specific expertise in SAP S/4 HANA. This role requires a leader with strong managerial skills, though prior hands-on experience with SAP EWM and S/4 HANA is essential. The position involves travel up to 50%.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the SAP Brownfield migration project for SAP EWM to SAP S/4 HANA at Kiewit.
• Manage and guide a cross-functional team through the migration process.
• Ensure timely and successful project delivery, managing resources and stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and direction on technical and business processes related to SAP EWM and S/4 HANA.
• Communicate effectively with both internal teams and client leadership.
• Drive project milestones, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring the quality of work.
• Collaborate with other key stakeholders to align on project objectives and strategy.

Qualifications:

• 15-20 years of experience in SAP EWM, with a strong preference for Big 4 consulting experience.
• Proven expertise in SAP Brownfield migration projects, particularly with SAP S/4 HANA.
• Strong leadership and managerial experience, including team coordination and resource allocation.
• Hands-on experience with SAP EWM processes in the past and S/4 HANA is essential (though the role is primarily managerial).
• - Extensive experience in SAP EWM implementation and migration projects.
  - Proven expertise in SAP EWM module functionalities, including configuration and customization. Expertise in Stock Room and/or Jovix a plus.
  - Relevant SAP certifications, especially in EWM, are highly desirable.
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• This is an urgent, high-priority role, so immediate availability is preferred
• Proximity to Central Time Zone preferred

Management:
- Lead the EWM team throughout all stages of the migration project.
- Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives and deadlines.
- Collaborate with other workstreams to achieve integrated and cohesive project outcomes.

SAP WM expertise:
- Possess extensive knowledge of SAP EWM module functionalities and best practices, as well as knowledge of Stock Room Management
-Analyze current warehouse management processes and design effective solutions to meet business requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on leveraging WM capabilities for optimal warehouse operations.
- Provide recommendations to client on the strengths/weaknesses of EWM and Stock Room Management

Requirement Analysis:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring alignment with SAP capabilities.

Cross-workstream support and collaboration:
- Support major cross-workstreams activities such as: data migration, change management/training, cutover and integrated testing.
