Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Solution Expert with a strong background in Material Costing and expertise in SAP S4HANA Project System, specifically in designing Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution (GPD) and Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in implementing SAP solutions for the Aerospace and Defense (A&D) industry, particularly in highly regulated manufacturing environments. The candidate will be working directly with clients to structure and implement complex technology solutions in SAP S4HANA.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead SAP PMMO Greenfield Implementation:
o Lead the implementation of SAP PMMO solutions from scratch, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
o Oversee the configuration and customization of the SAP PMMO module to meet the specific needs of the client organization.
2. Collaborate with Stakeholders:
o Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements.
o Translate these requirements into SAP solutions that drive efficiency and support business objectives.
3. Design and Implement SAP GPD/PMMO Solutions:
o Specialize in designing GPD (Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution) and PMMO solutions for the Aerospace & Defense industry.
o Configure and implement automated inventory processes that ensure parts and their associated costs are efficiently managed across contracts.
4. Optimize Processes and Drive Best Practices:
o Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in manufacturing and project management operations.
o Ensure all SAP solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation).
5. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
o Provide expertise in troubleshooting SAP PMMO-related issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring timely resolution of system problems.
o Support clients through functional unit testing, end-to-end testing, and system go-live phases.
6. Documentation and Testing:
o Prepare functional specifications, Business Process Documents (BPDs), and other required documentation.
o Lead and coordinate system testing, including functional, integration, and user acceptance testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
Expert Knowledge of SAP PMMO & GPD: In-depth knowledge of SAP Grouping, Pegging & Distribution (GPD) or SAP Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
Strong SAP Project System Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Project Systems (PS) to ensure proper integration and alignment with PMMO solutions.
SAP FI/CO Solutions Expertise: Proven expertise in SAP FI/CO, particularly in material costing, and the ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions.
5-7 Years of Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in SAP FI/CO solutions, with a strong focus on material costing and project systems.
Client-Facing Consulting Skills: Strong ability to work directly with clients, gather requirements, and design solutions that address business problems.
Documentation and Testing: Proficient in writing functional specifications, creating business process documentation, and conducting system testing.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with Dassian PACE Solution: Familiarity with Dassian PACE and its integration with SAP solutions in project management.
Industry Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D): Knowledge of highly regulated manufacturing processes within the A&D industry, particularly in the US.
Education:
Bachelor s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
Travel Requirements:
Travel and expenses will be covered by the client if requested for on-site work.
