TECHNICAL LEAD - ORACLE FUSION INTEGRATION
Chicago, IL (Need Local)
The client is currently undertaking a multi-year ERP modernization program for migrating and upgrading on-premise Oracle E-Business Financials, and Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management Applications, and Kronos Workforce Management System to the latest SaaS-based Oracle Cloud ERP Platform as part of business and technology transformation.
The Technical Lead - Oracle Fusion Integration is responsible for the orchestration of integration to and from the District s Oracle Fusion Cloud environments to meet the business and technical requirements for the ERP Modernization Program. This position resides in ERP Portfolio
Management of the Information and Technology Services (ITS) / ERP Modernization Program and reports to the CPS ERP Portfolio Management Director.
Responsibilities:
? Developing Integration strategy and plans with solid experience in developing inbound and outbound integrations for ERP applications.
? Good experience in understanding OIC, third party software integration including Hexagon, GrantsNow, Workforce, Banks, Data warehouse environments and State and public entities
? Strong Technical experience to understand the business context in Financials and Procurement, HCM, and Payroll and integrating the relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud Services with other upstream and downstream systems.
? Defining roles and responsibilities for the technical integration activities.
? Reviewing and providing comments and suggestions on the integration work deliverables.
? Documenting technical activity timelines for dry run testing and production deployment.
? Developing an integration checklist and sign-off process to ensure completion of planned activities.
? Drive technical design and data mapping activities for each inbound and outbound integration with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
? Assisting with determining boundary applications and establishing security controls.
? Developing unit and end-to-end integration test plans.
? Work with system integrator, third party vendors and internal application owners to deliver work products.
? Documenting the end-to-end integration test results.
Skills, abilities, and qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Demonstrated knowledge required to leverage Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to design and implement cloud and on-premises application integrations.
? Experience planning ERP Cloud instance strategy for SaaS and PaaS solutions.
? Expertise across the Oracle Fusion Tech stack including but not limited to: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), OTBI, VBCS, Java, Oracle Database, XML/BI Publisher, ADF, SQL, PL/SQL, FBDI etc.
? Experience across all RICE design/ development on Oracle ERP Cloud tech stack.
? Experience with Oracle Fusion integration processes including preparation of strategy, plan, timing, dependencies, and sequencing of tasks.
? Ability to work with large scale ERP program system integrators for timely completion of each phase
? Experience in working with Oracle Financials, Procurement, Assets, Projects, Grants HCM and Time and Labor Cloud modules.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
? Extensive interaction with functional and technical leads,business users, and SMEs.
Type of Education Required:
? Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.
? A major in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred.
? Master s Degree preferably an MBA with a major in MIS, Human Resources Management, Finance or Accounting preferred.
? Oracle ERP Cloud certifications preferred.
Type of Experience and Number of Years:
? At least 2 recent end-to-end full life cycle experience as a Oracle Fusion integration technical lead implementing Oracle Fusion Financials, HCM, Projects, Grants & Assets and Procurement Cloud Services.
? 5 years of experience in managing and leading Oracle Fusion Cloud integration workstream- On-Premise Oracle E-Business and Oracle PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
? At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading ERP integration activities.
? At least five (5) years of experience managing technical integration activities for Oracle ERP Cloud Tech stack.
? Experience in Education (K-12) ERP Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation preferred.
? Oracle Fusion Technical Certification preferred.
