We have a compelling opportunity for a Performance Driver position with an attractive compensation package. Job Title : Performance Driver Client- Magna Duration : 8 MonthsWork Location : Troy, MI Responsibilities :
- Responsible for driving customer pre-production / production / Magna vehicles (test vehicles) on test track or on approved highways or interstates.
- Responsible for driving test vehicles while maintaining attention to the road and surroundings.
- Responsible to operate test vehicles in a professional, nonaggressive manner while adhering to the local laws of the jurisdiction you are operating in. Must maintain safety and security procedures.
- Operate test vehicles in inclement weather.
- Execute use cases to collect data on public roads or test track.
- Execute vehicle inspections and any other records for test vehicle during assigned shift.
- Maintain 5S in test vehicle.
- Create test vehicle incident report.
- Responsible for maintaining vehicle fuel needs.
- Coordinate with fleet management to maintain operating condition of test vehicles. Required Experience : Level : 5 years of licensed driving, no major traffic citation, accidents or suspensions for the past three years. No alcohol related violations on driving record. Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screening, must be able to pass internal drivers training program to appropriate level, read maps, use GPS devices, lift at least 50 pounds. Tier 2 Driver Certificate (Preferred)
- Trailer tow experience, chauffeur or CDL license a plus.
- Background in some type of motorsports (Preferred)
- Have a basic understanding of vehicle mechanics.\
