Job Title : Senior / Mid level Java Developer

Location : Lake Mary, FL (hybrid)

Duration : 12-month contract project that will convert to FTE

Rate : Only W2

Project : Automate and digitalize manual workflows, creating an event-driven architecture for processing investor trades and hedge funds.

Tech Stack : Core Java, Spring Boot, REST API's, AWS, Kafka, NoSQL

Lead Developer

Responsibilities :

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers.
  • Design and implement solutions, ensuring best practices in design principles, multi-threading, and concurrency.
  • Hands-on coding with technologies like Core Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, REST, and NoSQL.
  • Reengineer manual workflows to create an event-driven architecture.
  • Ensure seamless integration across all points in the tech stack.

Requirements :

  • 8 years of Backend Java Development

    • Experience with Concurrency, Multithreading, and Design Patterns

  • Experience working in modern environment (AWS, DevOps, Kafka)
  • Financial background preferred (specifically knowledge of the investment process)

    • Mid-Senior Level Developer

    Responsibilities :

  • Rewrite services, transitioning from monolithic to microservices architecture.
  • Work with both .NET and Java (Java-only candidates are acceptable).
  • Contribute to the migration from .NET to Java.

    • Requirements :

  • 5-8 years of Development experience
  • Ideally candidates will have both .NET and Java, but can look for pure Backend Java candidates
  • REST API Microservices

    • Financial background preferred (specifically knowledge of the investment process)
