Position Description:
A successful candidate will have the following characteristics:
Strong experience in AWS Cloud Automation responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based database systems while leveraging automation, scalability, and reliability of the systems.

Strong experience in AWS Cloud Automation responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based database systems while leveraging automation, scalability, and reliability of the systems.
Responsibilities:
- Database management: Design, implement, and maintain Cloud based DBs like AWS Aurora, MongoDB Atlas, Document DB, Neptune, Dynamo DB, Elastic Cache using AWS services
- Cloud Automation: Develop automation, workflows for provisioning, configuration, backups, patching, and scaling using tools like AWS CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Python etc.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use IaC tools (AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Rafay) to manage infrastructure as Code.
- Database Performance Tuning: Expertise and depth in one or more DB technologies specifically on performance tuning aspects of Database and SQL queries
- Strong Database Architecture and Engineering skills

Experience in understanding & implementation Cloud Database Security - IAM & Managed AD
Minimum 8 years of experience in Database Engineering and Architecture including supporting production environments
8 years of related industry experience in an enterprise environment
Demonstrable experience with: Postgres Aurora, MongoDB and emerging database technologies like Graph DB, Vector DB
AWS Cloud Engineering/operations
Knowledge of Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git and Artifactory
Scripting languages (e.g., Groovy / Perl / Python / Ruby)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, driven, and creative individual
Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience(required)
