Will take an MT or MLT- MLT is a $5 rate decrease...Cerner is EMR, any color scrubs. The lab is open every day 7a-7p, the tech on duty typically takes call starting at 7p the night before their 3 -12hr shifts and the 2 nights following, they do not take call the last 12-hour shift. So, 3 nights call and 3 12-hr shifts. Blood bank experience is a plus!! If they will accept an auto offer that is also helpful to know upfront! Rates are firm. Essential Job Responsibilities Adheres to UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS standards. Understand and comply with policies and procedures. Dependability & Responsibility (attendance, punctuality, follows instructions. Venipuncture skill. Performs Daily Quality Control & Daily Maintenance per guidelines. Completes testing in a timely, concise manner. Operation and Troubleshooting of Chemistry Analyzers. Operation and Troubleshooting UA Analyzer. Operation and Troubleshooting Hematology Analyzer. Operation and Troubleshooting Coag Analyzer. Blood Bank Testing (type, RH, Antibody Screening, compatibility testing, QC), Courtesy and Professional Conduct (patients, lab staff, physicians, other employees). Misc. Testing (serological / micro testing, microscopic, etc.). Communication (shares important information with co-workers, supervisor, fellow employees, physicians). Overall Quality of Performance and Conduct.
