Senior Data Modeler
Location : Hybrid - Tuesday through Thursday - McLean, VA
Duration : 12 Months

We are seeking a Data Modeler who is both business and technically savvy to support initiatives on a large strategic technology project. The candidate will understand the impacts of strategic initiatives and create supporting artifacts. This role involves business analysis, technical writing, and project management, requiring attention to detail and a strategic vision. The candidate will collaborate with internal technology teams to document business events and data structures and create project-specific technical documentation. Key responsibilities include specifying interlocks between applications, creating modernization strategies, and maintaining technical documentation. Qualifications :
Bachelor's or master's Degree in software engineering, data science, or related field
7-10 years of relevant hands-on experience
Proficient in data modeling
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Exceptional presentation, communication, and technical writing skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
Experience with various databases
Strong financial analytical skills
Mortgage and / or Finance industry experience is strongly preferred
Ability to prioritize multiple activities
Proactive, holistic, and creative problem solver
Focus on precision, accuracy, reliability, and timely delivery
Team player with a positive attitude is a huge plus
