Position Title: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Job Type: Direct Hire/Staff Position
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift with On-Call Rotation. Staff rotate through a few different 8-hour shift schedules. Early shifts begin at 6:30am, and later shifts typically start at 9:00/9:30am.

Number of Operating Rooms: 10
Number of Surgeries per Month: 575-625

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross, obtained prior to hire or job transfer
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography, credentialed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), obtained before hire or job transfer
- State-specific Radiographer License
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or an Associate’s degree or Technical degree required
Core Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency in radiologic positioning and techniques for diagnostic imaging
- Use large C-arms in operating room (OR) and pain clinic settings
- Operate portable X-ray machines in the OR and recovery room
- Ensure the prompt submission of high-quality images and documents to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), ensuring correct lead markers, patient data, and image quality
- Prepare contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice, following applicable state and federal regulations
