Seeking a proactive Project Engineer to lead equipment projects and process improvements in a manufacturing environment. This role involves project scheduling, supplier coordination, validation, and implementation of capital equipment while maintaining budgetary and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project planning and execution to meet objectives and timelines.
- Update and manage equipment layouts using CAD/CREO/Pro-E.
- Coordinate equipment qualification and field data collection.
- Identify and implement tooling and process improvements.
- Monitor and report project status, cycle times, and validation processes.
- Drive continuous improvement and support Kaizen initiatives.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering or related field.
- 5 years in engineering or manufacturing (preferably automotive).
- Familiarity with AIAG, ISO 9001 standards.
- Knowledge in CNC machining, welding, and quality control.
- Self-starter with project execution experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Proficiency in CAD, CREO, or Pro-E.
