Job Summary:
We are seeking a Structural Analysis Engineer to perform structural evaluations and ensure component integrity using advanced analysis techniques. The role involves conducting stress, strength, deflection, fatigue, and vibratory analyses, utilizing FEA software (ANSYS Workbench) and interpreting CAD models (SolidWorks, CATIA) for accurate assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analyses (stress, strength, deflection, fatigue, vibratory) using hand calculations and FEA tools.
- Evaluate parts under various load conditions using ANSYS Workbench.
- Read and interpret blueprints (B/P) for analysis.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and obtain customer approval.
- Follow document control procedures for data storage.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for analysis validation and approvals.
- Present findings at gate reviews and customer meetings.
- Develop templates, tools, and training materials for process improvement.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in engineering processes.
- Maintain compliance with export control regulations.
- Work onsite at customer facilities as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in FEA analysis (ANSYS Workbench), CAD modeling (SolidWorks, CATIA), and hand calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations.
