Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine scope and costs.
- Work with project managers and subcontractors to gather estimates.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and challenges.
- Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs for accurate estimates.
- Use estimating software to generate cost projections.
- Prepare and present bid proposals with cost breakdowns.
- Maintain records of estimates and project documents.
- Stay updated on industry pricing, trends, and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Experience as a Plumbing Estimator with knowledge of plumbing systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimating software.
- Excellent communication & teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects & deadlines.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
