Position: ICU
Shift Details:
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating Day/Night shifts (8, 12, and occasional 4-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend and holiday
- 36 or 48-hour guarantees (OT billed after 48 hours)
General Job Duties:
- Management of 1-3 critically ill patients, including neuro, cardiac, CT surgery, trauma, medical, and surgical cases.
- Administering and titrating medications such as vasopressors, sedatives, analgesics, inotropics, antiarrhythmics, and other drips.
- Assisting with bedside procedures: RSI, EVD placement, tracheostomy, line placement, and diagnostic tests.

- Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinet
- Aleris IV pumps
- MOOG Feeding pumps
- IABP, EVD
- Phillips Patient Monitoring Systems
- AvaSure Patient Monitoring
- Impella
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a large hospital (200 beds), Level 1 trauma center.
- Ability to independently manage critically ill patients.
Licensures & Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA required)
- ACLS (AHA required)
- NIHSS
- ND or compact state RN license
Shift/Schedule Requirements:
- Call in each day to confirm work location (2E, 5CD, 5AB-IMC).
- May float to MS for tasks or assignments (up to 3 patients).
- No on-call duties required.
- Employee will not work alone.
Floating Details:
- Float to all critical care departments in Sanford Fargo, including:
- 5AB: Intermediate ICU (ratios up to 4:1)
- Broadway ICU (ratios up to 3:1)
- May float to med-surg units if needed.
Unit Details:
- Bed size: 32 beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Dress Code: Navy Scrubs

Pay: $68.00 - $70.00 per hour
