Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Blue Yonder WMS Functional Consultant to join our team. This role involves analyzing client business needs, defining functional requirements, and configuring Blue Yonder WMS to ensure seamless warehouse operations. The consultant will drive efficiency improvements, optimize workflows, and enhance the overall WMS implementation to maximize client value.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze client business requirements to develop functional specifications for WMS solutions.
Configure and customize Blue Yonder WMS, aligning it with industry best practices and client needs.
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to manage project expectations and ensure smooth execution.
Identify and implement enhancements for warehouse processes and WMS functionalities.
Translate business objectives into scalable and efficient system designs within the Blue Yonder platform.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Strong functional expertise in Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA WMS).
Extensive knowledge of Warehouse Management, Inventory Replenishment, Logistics, and Transportation.
Deep understanding of core warehouse operations, including Inventory Management, Order Processing, Shipping/Receiving, and Labor Management.
Proven ability to transform business needs into detailed functional system specifications.
Relevant certifications in Warehouse Management Systems or Supply Chain Management are a plus.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Background in Logistics or Retail industries.
Proficiency in Business Process Analysis, including identifying areas for process improvement.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics workflows (pick/pack/ship), and distribution strategies.
Familiarity with industry performance metrics, such as Order Cycle Times, Inventory Turnover, and Warehouse Efficiency.
