Job Title : Database Administrator (Oracle / SQL Server)

Overview :
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator with 4-10 years of experience in Oracle database administration. The candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database environments. Familiarity with SQL Server and PostgreSQL is a plus.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer, maintain, and optimize Oracle databases across production, development, and testing environments.
- Monitor database health proactively to ensure high availability, security, and optimal performance.
- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and troubleshoot performance issues to enhance efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues, including slow queries, indexing, and inefficient data access.
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for Oracle databases.
- Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and data architects to improve database performance and design.
- Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Provide on-call support for critical database issues and incidents.
- Document database configurations, tuning efforts, and troubleshooting procedures for future use.
