Position Title: Kafka Administrator
Location: Onsite Fort Mill, SC
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Kafka Administrator to join our team in Fort Mill, SC. This is an onsite role that requires deep expertise in Kafka infrastructure management and Ansible scripting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting, configuring, and maintaining Kafka environments along with handling deployments and middleware support.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain Kafka components including Brokers, ZooKeeper, Schema Registry, Kafka Connect, and KSQL.
Perform installation, configuration, and patching of Kafka environments.
Build and manage new Kafka environments from the ground up.
Support application teams with Kafka-related configuration and deployments.
Develop and manage Ansible scripts for automation and orchestration tasks.
Provide middleware environment support and troubleshoot related issues.
Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Kafka administration and architecture.
Hands-on experience with Ansible scripting.
Strong knowledge of Kafka ecosystem components.
Experience in installing, configuring, and patching Kafka environments.
Ability to build new environments and provide end-to-end support.
Middleware support experience is a plus.
