Key Responsibilities
As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for providing reliable support to the Fermentation Pilot Plant team with moderate supervision. Your duties will include timely execution of duties to ensure effective implementation of fermentation experiments, maintaining housekeeping responsibilities in the Fermentation Pilot Plant, including routine cleaning of counters, windows, sinks, walls, windows, and floors, and assisting with set up and break down/cleaning of fermentation bioreactors.
You will also prepare materials from provided recipes for fermentation, prepare reagents, solutions, and samples, clean and store glassware, and sanitize and reassemble bottles and transfers. Additionally, you will maintain inventory of supplies associated with the role and assist in ensuring the reliability of equipment and timely maintenance.
