About the Role
As an MEP Superintendent, you will lead, direct, and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) subcontractors and trade partners in commercial construction projects. This role focuses on ensuring the safety, schedule adherence, quality of work, and budget compliance for large-scale vertical construction projects. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with mid-rise, high-rise, data center, or distribution center projects.

Key Responsibilities
- 3D Modeling/Coordination: Lead the modeling and coordination process for MEP systems.
- Scheduling: Develop and assist with detailed schedules for MEP activities.
- Trade Partner Management: Oversee and manage the performance of MEP subcontractors and trade partners.
- QA/QC Oversight: Manage quality assurance/quality control processes from MEP system installation to commissioning and start-up.
- Material and Equipment Oversight: Review MEP materials and equipment prior to installation; manage procurement processes.
- Project Planning: Assist the superintendent with the overall project plan, focusing on MEP activities.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Ensure all subcontractor work is aligned with the project scope and specifications.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
- Proven ability to prioritize and organize work; detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic understanding of MEP codes relevant to the project.
- Solid knowledge across various construction disciplines.
- Experience managing MEP subcontractors and contracts.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in MEP coordination for medium to large projects ($20M ).
- Previous experience in roles such as Project Manager, QC, or MEP Superintendent.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
