Job Description
The company is looking for a Tax Director to work in our Wakefield, MA office. Our Tax Director
oversees the firm’s tax policies and objectives; monitors reporting and planning to ensure
compliance with applicable tax statutes; ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the
organization’s tax obligations; creates functional strategies and specific objectives; and develops
budgets/policies/procedures to support the infrastructure.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide tax planning and compliance services for high-net-worth individuals, estates, and
trusts
- Conduct multi-state tax filings
- Perform tax accruals
- Manage a portfolio of clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor, offering clients industry expertise and knowledge
- Work closely with engagement teams to continually add value to clients
- Train and mentor tax associates
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship management skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Prior experience with ProSystem fx Tax, BNA products, and CCH Intelliconnect is desired
- CPA certification is required
