*** We need: A mid-senior Project Manager/THIRD PARY RISK Specialist with recent capital markets exp (POC) with great, recent experience working on third party Risk projects. Candidates need 5 years of experience in market data application support within financial services, Strong understanding of market data vendors, such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, FactSet, and S&P Global as well as experience in risk management processes, including SLA tracking and corporate workflow compliance. They must also have Knowledge of IT Risk and Procurement processes in a banking or securities environment.
Job Description: Seeking a Market Data Application Support Consultant for a long-term consulting role focused on Internal Risk. This position will serve as the single point of contact between Procurement, IT Risk, and external market data vendors, ensuring compliance with corporate workflows and risk management policies. The consultant will play a critical role in overseeing market data application support, ensuring all open risk SLAs are met, and facilitating smooth communication between internal teams and third-party vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Market Data Application Support & Risk Management
- Provide day-to-day support for market data applications within the Internal Risk division.
- Ensure all open risk SLAs are met by proactively managing and tracking issues through resolution.
- Work closely with IT Risk teams to ensure applications comply with corporate security policies and regulatory guidelines.
Vendor Management & Corporate Workflow Compliance
- Act as the primary liaison between Procurement, IT Risk, and external market data vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of services and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Follow corporate procurement workflows, ensuring all requests, renewals, and approvals meet internal policies.
- Assist in contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance assessments for market data services.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with trading, risk, IT, and finance teams to align market data support with business needs.
- Provide regular status updates and reporting on risk items, SLA compliance, and vendor performance.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new market data services by coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 5 years of experience in market data application support within financial services.
- Strong understanding of market data vendors, such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, ICE, FactSet, and S&P Global.
- Experience in risk management processes, including SLA tracking and corporate workflow compliance.
- Knowledge of IT Risk and Procurement processes in a banking or securities environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot market data application issues, including latency, connectivity, and entitlement problems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience acting as a liaison between business, IT, and vendors.
