TekCom Resources is seeking a Fiber Data Entry Specialist to work with a fast-growing telecom construction firm in the St. Louis, MO market! This is an in office role.
As the Fiber Data Entry Specialist, you will be helping our client track completed fiber optics construction for the purpose of paying contractors and billing customers. Training will be provided over a two-week period, and may require travel paid for our client depending on where you live.
Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate data for fiber projects, review maps, customer communication. This role will require good people skills, strong computer skills and exceptional attention to detail.

Job Duties:
- Data Entry
- Submit completed and updated maps to customers and process approval or denial - this is a customer-facing role.
- Once maps of completed work are approved by the customer, ensure that invoicing is being processed within the designated time frame.
- Update comprehensive tracking production and invoicing.
- Relay instructions provided by Project Managers and other higher-level supervisors, and inform supervisors of any issues that arise with production or invoicing.
- Meet with Mapping Assistants for weekly one-on-one assessments to discuss quality control.
- Manage excel spreadsheets for data coordination
