Job Title: Release Train Engineer’s (RTE)

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is responsible for guiding Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver value efficiently within a scaled Agile framework. The RTE ensures smooth execution, continuous improvement, and alignment across teams, stakeholders, and the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Release Train Planning & Coordination:
• Collaborate with Product Manager, Engineering Leader, Architect, and UX Architect to prioritize and refine features for quarterly planning.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders during feature definition and delivery.
• Manage changes to the ART’s quarterly plan and their impact.
Transparency & Reporting:
• Oversee backlog management and maintain accurate reporting in tools like Rally.
• Facilitate ART reviews, gathering stakeholder feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Delivery Coordination:
• Lead Release Train Coordination (RTC) meetings to address dependencies, risks, and ensure alignment across teams and release trains.
• Coordinate program-level initiatives across multiple release trains.
• Manage escalated risks, impediments, and dependencies impacting delivery.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in scaled Agile environments (e.g., SAFe).
• Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and delivery coordination.
• Ability to manage risks and dependencies across multiple teams.
