Job Role -Release Train Engineer (RTE)
Location - San Antonio, TX
Mandatory Skill-Set - SAFe RTE certified, ART (Agile Release train), PI Planning, Risk Mitigation, AWS Services and Cloud migration Jira, Rally.
Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as an RTE or in a similar role within an IT environment, preferably in the insurance industry.
Certifications : SAFe RTE certification or equivalent Agile certifications.
Skills :
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or equivalent.
Expertise in AWS and Guidewire migration projects.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the insurance industry.
Advanced certifications in Agile methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Key Responsibilities :
Facilitate ART Events : Plan and facilitate PI Planning, ART syncs, and other key events.
Manage Risks and Dependencies : Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams.
Continuous Improvement : Drive continuous improvement through Inspect and Adapt workshops and other feedback mechanisms.
Collaboration : Work closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
AWS and Guidewire Migration : Lead and coordinate efforts related to AWS and Guidewire migrations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
Metrics and Reporting : Track and report on key metrics to ensure ART performance and health.
Coaching : Mentor and coach teams on Agile practices and principles to enhance their performance and delivery.
