JOB SUMMARY
The Business Analyst supports our business goals by partnering with stakeholders to capture business needs and defines user requirements in support of the customer journey.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work independently to solve open-ended questions.
Precisely and consistently capture business problems and nonfunctional requirements.
Prioritize problems to surface the most critical needs.
Data Analysis : Conduct analysis of clinical data and revenue to identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Work with clinical teams, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Process Improvement : Recommend strategies to enhance business performance and clinical processes.
Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for business processes, requirements, and workflows.
Prioritize competing business demands, elicit high-level business requirements, and assess the risks of various solution options to different options.
Articulate the business impact of business problems and understand the organization's economic and revenue drivers
Obtain key input from enterprise architecture groups to ensure architecture compliance and exception management.
Incorporate usability and user interface techniques when designing systems.
Understand knowledge workers' information needs as they relate to a potential solution.
Present ideas in a concise, focused manner.
Surface potential impacts of the solution on all stakeholders.
Set realistic customer expectations for project delivery (e.g, schedule, budget, outcome).
Clearly articulates the role of technology in terms easily understood by business constituencies.
Proactively resolve customer satisfaction issues.
Listen to and understands technological constraints.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
Primary Business Analyst on several small to medium complexity projects.
Experience : 8-11 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel), knowledge of clinical systems and workflows.
Demonstrated knowledge of both traditional Waterfall and Agile / Lean methodologies.
Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
Demonstrated ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits.
Strong risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Demonstrated ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communications; Fantastic listener.
Self-starter, proactive, strong-business acumen, excellent follow-through.
Proficient with MS Office applications (e.g. Visio, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
