The Project Operations Consultant is responsible for all aspects of the functional workstream. They will be comfortable leading customer facing functional workshops, teams of functional consultants, interacting with technical workstreams and business analysts. They will have expert level knowledge on the out-of-the-box features and functionality and be a champion of delivering against requirements using code-free solutions. They will stay up to date on the latest functionality - Dynamics, Azure, Data & AI, O365 and help mentor team members both in a project and practice context. They must possess excellent consultancy and strong communication skills, be capable of dealing with difficult stakeholders and have exposure to all aspects of the project lifecycle, from project inception and requirements gathering, to implementation and adherence to best practice, all the way through to testing, training and support, comfortable in any of these roles and the challenges they produce.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead functional workshops with customers, document requirements, and design appropriate solutionsWork with the Education Team to deliver and create super users and end users training, as neededHelp customers define and document processes when there are no processes in placeAssist technical consultants with architecting D365 CRM or xRM system, related customizations, and reports to model the client's organizational processesCreate and lead on functional and solution design and specification documentsCreate detailed project scope documents for the customer, which includes both estimates for the tasks that will be completed and the project schedule in Microsoft ProjectInteract with project and program managers to manage, report and mitigate risks and issuesLead and deliver internal sessions on best practices and new functionality and featuresAdvise customers on best practices for CRM processes and user interface componentsWork effectively with the sales team on delivering tender response documents, estimates and customer demonstrationsQualifications and Skills
3 years of Dynamics CRM Project OperationsExposure to / knowledge of Project Operations is a mustAbility to balance short-term demands while maintaining the long-term vision needed to guide a customer through the implementation processAbility to lead functional teams within multiple projects with both onshore and offshore resourcesIndustry leading breadth knowledge of subject area and have demonstrated analysis and communication skills connecting technology and business problemsAbility to act as a lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilitiesExcellent communicator with ability to operate within cross functional teamExpected to be flexible with time and capable of working in a process-oriented environmentExtensive professional experience within an IT consultancy environmentAt least 3 end-to-end full life cycle implementations of Dynamics 365Experience with SharePoint integration with CRMExposure to Azure DevOps or other similar enterprise planning and delivery toolsExcellent client facing skills e.g. verbal, client demonstrations, deliver training at all levels of within an organizationAdvanced use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, and VisioAbility to work on Agile / Waterfall project deliveryExcellent understanding of Microsoft PowerAutomate, PowerApps, CDM, and PowerBICRM Certifications requiredFor more information and other jobs available please contact our recruitment team at careers@tekfortune.com.
