Applications & Toolsets Engineer
We are seeking an Applications & Toolsets Engineer to join an innovative team in designing & developing public safety technology. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software tools and applications that interface with embedded products over Bluetooth and wired interfaces. Responsibilities will include integrating, automating, and streamlining various internal and customer-facing software applications over multiple platforms.
Responsibilities :
- Design and develop company internal and customer external facing software applications and toolsets written in Python, JavaScript, and C# (legacy), running on PCs, embedded touchscreens, and mobile devices.
- Maintain applications and toolsets to ensure they remain effective, adding features to adapt them to new requirements as needed.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, write requirements, propose wireframes, and build or expand UI applications to enhance workflow and support.
- Ensure tools are integrated and compatible with existing infrastructure and technology stack as it evolves.
- Create and maintain documentation for formal processes as well as user manuals for customer-facing applications.
- Continuously monitor and optimize tool performance to improve responsiveness, usability, and reliability.
