Role: Generative AI (Gen AI) Lead Developer
Location Required: Charlotte, NC.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Generative AI Lead to design and develop cutting-edge AI-driven frameworks that automate software engineering processes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS Services, Bedrock APIs, Anthropic Claude LLM, and the LangChain framework. You will play a pivotal role in creating an Agentic Framework that leverages Generative AI to enhance the productivity and experience of developers, testers, and other engineering roles.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and Develop Generative AI Frameworks:
o Design and implement scalable, AI-driven frameworks to automate software engineering processes.
o Leverage AWS Services, Bedrock APIs, Anthropic Claude LLM, and LangChain to build robust and efficient solutions.
o Create an Agentic Framework that integrates seamlessly with existing development workflows.
· Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
o Work closely with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and design AI solutions that enhance their productivity.
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
· Optimize AI Models and Workflows:
o Fine-tune and optimize LLMs (e.g., Anthropic Claude) for specific use cases in software engineering.
o Implement best practices for prompt engineering, model evaluation, and performance optimization.
· Integrate with AWS Ecosystem:
o Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, S3, EC2, SageMaker, and Bedrock to build and deploy AI solutions.
o Ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective implementations.
· Develop Developer-Centric Tools:
o Build tools and APIs that provide a seamless experience for developers and testers.
o Create intuitive interfaces and documentation to enable easy adoption of AI-driven workflows.
· Stay Ahead of Industry Trends:
o Continuously research and experiment with emerging technologies and frameworks in Generative AI.
o Propose innovative solutions to stay ahead of the curve in AI-driven software engineering.
Qualifications:
· Required Skills and Experience:
o Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
o 5 years of development experience in Python, AWS Cloud services.
o Java and other language experience is preferred.
o Experience with VSCode and Eclipse IDEs, Rally or Jira ALM tools, Confluence and SharePoint Collaboration tools.
o Familiarity with functional, performance, and security testing tools.
· Hands-On Experience with Generative AI:
o Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, or similar.
o Experience building AI-driven applications leveraging LangChain, Lang graph, or similar frameworks.
o Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI/ML-focused libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Transformers).
o Experience in Prompt engineering using foundational models. Familiarity in leveraging RAG techniques and finetuning of models.
· AWS Expertise:
o In-depth knowledge of AWS Services (e.g., Lambda, S3, SageMaker, Bedrock, API Gateway, EKS).
Preferred Skills:
· Experience with additional programming languages such as JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
· Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
· Experience building required AWS services using cloud formation scripts
· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
