Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mid-Level Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and managing documentation in Confluence, with a focus on transferring and standardizing documentation from various sources. The client is engaging Client to provide a resource to help develop standards for their new documentation repository, Confluence. The Client resources will work under the direction of the assigned manager. Client will engage with the client’s storage and backup team to develop documentation standards for the new documentation repository, Confluence
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage templates for documentation transfer, including meeting notes, standard operating procedures, and data tables.
- Transfer existing documentation from the wiki and Google Drive to Confluence, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to gather input on the desired folder structure within Confluence.
- Provide feedback on the current documentation structure and suggest improvements for consistency and comprehensiveness.
- Work closely with team members to ensure the documentation transfer process is smooth and efficient.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a technical writer, with a focus on Confluence.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with documentation transfer processes and template creation.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with architectural diagrams and the ability to collaborate with team members on this task.
- Knowledge of Google Drive and wiki documentation systems.
