Position Specifications :
Required Education :
Associates in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Education :
Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security or a related technology field. Multiple industry certifications in Cyber Security, Systems Administration, and / or Networking are preferred.
Required Experience :
- At least 4 years of progressive experience in the design and administration of cyber security technologies within large, complex environments, particularly in retail settings across multiple regions.
- Proficient in areas such as cryptography, network defense, endpoint protection, digital forensics, data protection, and incident response, along with a solid understanding of data center technologies, services, cyber security infrastructure, and disaster recovery practices.
- Experience troubleshooting IT systems and familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and SOX.
Desired Experience :
Required Skills :
Expertise with next-generation firewalls, IDS / IPS, network access control, email and web security, digital forensics, endpoint detection and response, vulnerability scanning, data protection, credential vaulting, certificate management, Multi-Factor Authentication, access brokering, SIEM, public cloud compliance, and cyber security automation and orchestration technologies.
Strong project planning and tracking skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both business and IT personnel in a professional manner.
Desired Skills :
Additional Criteria : This role requires being on call 24 / 7. Ability to work under pressure and provide timely guidance to IT management and other engineers during critical incidents is essential. Familiarity with multiple areas of expertise and the ability to switch rapidly between them is necessary. Some travel may be required.
This position requires the availability to communicate via phone and / or email, as well as access to calendar, contacts, and data while out of the office.
