Job Summary
As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that shape and form metal or other materials through a die press.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate mechanical and hydraulic presses to produce parts according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products
- Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine product specifications
- Use hand tools to adjust machine settings as needed
- Work in a warehouse environment on an assembly line
Qualifications
- Experience in machining or press operation is preferred
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with logic controllers is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Knowledge of assembly line processes
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
