Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with their inquiries and purchases
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote special offers and increase sales
- Answer phone calls and address customer queries with professionalism
- Follow proper phone etiquette when communicating with customers
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Familiarity with basic math for cash handling purposes
- Knowledge of retail math concepts is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
- Experience working in a grocery store setting would be advantageous
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $17.00 - $18.65 per hour
