Title : Global Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst

Location : Onsite day 1, hybrid in Northbrook, IL (local candidates only)

Contract Duration : Contract to hire

Experience Needed : 4 years

Job Description :

The Global Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst will identify, analyze, report, and ensure security processes and controls are effectively designed, managed, and assessed to reduce compliance risks across the organization. The role will collaborate with internal stakeholders, respond to cybersecurity-related inquiries, and stay updated on evolving compliance control solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Conduct compliance assessments and validate cybersecurity controls.
Communicate assessment issues with stakeholders.
Manage and maintain customer cybersecurity request processes.
Partner with IT and legal teams to address compliance issues.
Identify control deficiencies and document findings.
Stay informed about regulatory and compliance requirements.
Develop and analyze security and compliance metrics.
Maintain risk monitoring mechanisms and internal audit findings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Must Haves :

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

2 years of work experience in information security, especially in an information cybersecurity risk role

2 years of experience in managing risk and compliance issues, or similar experience managing applications, projects or systems that require identification, evaluation, and remediation if risk

Strong understanding of compliance and risk-related issues through demonstrated experience managing, information security or regulatory compliance programs, and audits

4 years of experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks (e.g., International Organization for Standardization [IS0] 27000, COBIT, National Institute of Standards and Technology [NIST] 800)

Desired, but not required :

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and / or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
