Title: Sr. Backend Engineer (Golang)

Job Description:
The Sr. Backend Engineer will be responsible for leading projects from conception to rollout, ensuring high-quality code, and executing development tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The engineer will focus on backend development using Golang and PHP, with a strong emphasis on API development, monitoring, and database technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·       Lead backend development projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution.

·       Develop and maintain APIs using gRPC or REST.

·       Work with PHP alongside Golang for backend services.

·       Implement event-driven architecture using Kafka.

·       Ensure high code quality and articulate development decisions effectively.

·       Utilize monitoring tools such as Datadog for performance tracking.

·       Work with both relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases in a production environment.

·       Collaborate with the team to execute development tasks efficiently without focusing on architecture design.

Must Haves:

·       Experience leading a project from start to finish.

·       Strong communication skills to articulate project execution.

·       Ability to work independently and ensure code quality.

·       Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.

·       Golang

·       Only backend, no full stack.

Important:  Production Experience using relational (SQL) and nonrelational database(NoSQL) technology.
