This individual will assist in the planning, monitoring, and reporting of cybersecurity efforts, ensuring compliance with work management best practices, and providing analysis on the overall cybersecurity program. The Cybersecurity Portfolio Reporting Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, cybersecurity product teams, and executive stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of cybersecurity projects and initiatives and their visibility to leadership.
These are the primary activities that this individual will be required to assist with:
- Working with Project Leads and Product Owners to provide guidance on Agile work management requirements to facilitate automated status reporting
- Working with a variety of stakeholders to prepare PowerPoint presentations for quarterly and reviews with executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
- 3 years of experience in a portfolio or project management role within a cybersecurity organization
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and capabilities
- Capable of providing a structured and strategic approach to planning and delivery
- Experience with utilizing program metrics to track cybersecurity program goals
- Skilled in development of compelling executive presentations using PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools
- Experience in applying innovative and rational approaches to various organizational challenges
- Ability to effectively manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
- Ability to collect, evaluate, and summarize information from multiple sources
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in Agile work management principles and best practices and familiarity with Agile tools
- Professional certifications related to cybersecurity and project management (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PRINCE2)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., TSA, FAA, PCI DSS) and their cybersecurity requirements
- Experience working in highly-regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government
- Working with a variety of stakeholders to prepare PowerPoint presentations for quarterly and ad hoc reviews with executive leadership
- Working with the metrics team and metrics owners to collect, validate, and report on cybersecurity metrics
- Working with Project Leads and Product Owners to provide guidance on Agile work management requirements to facilitate automated status reporting
