Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
Responsibilities
- Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and software
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Set up and configure new equipment
- Provide technical support for network connectivity issues
- Respond to IT support tickets in a timely manner
- Collaborate with network administrators to ensure efficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment
- Assist with computer management tasks such as user accounts and permissions
- Communicate effectively with end-users to provide guidance and solutions
Experience
- Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and macOS
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols
- Experience in desktop support, help desk, or IT support roles
- Familiarity with network administration tasks is a plus
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
